Finally I have found a matte nail polish! I was out searching for uniform fabrics when I came across the beauty section of the department store. So naturally, my feet took control and led me to the nail polish section AND TADAAAAA.
I found this tiny bottle of matte nail polish! This one here is the SkinFood #7 Rose Gunnpang Nail which costs Php375 or $7-$8. I was actually surprised with the price considering that other brands of matte nail polish here are expensive. I checked their website and the only description I could find was the color name and that it weighs about 7g. The bottle is pretty small and compact, probably for quick fixes, and it had a frosted glass look. There are other several colors like black, blue and the like. I forgot the name of the shades but you can check out their website here.
Here is a close up photo of my "matte" nails. The consistency is about the same as a regular nail polish although this one dried up a few seconds after applying it on my nails. I sort of messed up with my thumb, I wasn't able to apply it smoothly on the first coat and it dried too fast to correct it so when I applied the second coat, it had these ridges which completely messed up the finish.
A photo from a distance. I would say that it does look pretty clean and very elegant. No top coats were applied although the sales assistant told me that they had this top coat that was for the matte polish. They didn't have any stock at hand so I wasn't able to get to test it. I'd like to try out other brands and see if they score better or worse than this one. Although this one is pretty cheap compared to others.
Until my next update!

Out of Hand
I've decided to post my nail photos here. I usually put them up on DA but hey this is my blog. Anyhow, let's fill this blog up until I can firmly say I can blog on a regular routine.
So there you go! I'll be updating my nailarts soon, I'm trying to look for a matte nail polish so I'll let you know! :)
Green based nails. I had the base gradient with a kiwi green and dark green nail polish. Topped with white design.
Here, the ever common animal print. I replicated the pattern with a bright pink polish topped with black stripes.
I based this one on a color design book I found when I was cleaning my room. It's a paisley pattern although I had a hard time with this one because I didn't have the appropriate brushes for the fine lines and such. So I had to do with what I have and it came out a little bit messy.
This pattern here is the sunburst based on the same book. My dotting pen was almost done so the lines weren't as straight as it should've been but it looked definitely pretty and I got a lot of comments on this one. :)
Art Nouveau Thistles, this one proved to be hard to make on my other hand that I ended up doing it on my left hand only. I wasn't able to show it off like I do with my other nails :(
Finally, watermelon nails! Who doesn't love watermelon nails! I had a lot of coats on this one and ended up having a very generous amount of red on my nails. Fortunately it didn't look like gunk. I had a base coat, light pink, red watermelon, black seeds and the green for the skin and a top coat for everything!
So there you go! I'll be updating my nailarts soon, I'm trying to look for a matte nail polish so I'll let you know! :)

Worthy of a First
Hello!
I have returned back here after years. Well, it's quite something because my previous blog practically has nothing in it seeing as I compiled my weekly blogs in a folder in my old laptop instead. So I ended up posting nothing there and ended up losing my stories. However, I'd like to believe past is past, start anew so here we go!
*Testing gif // Disclaimer on the .gif, I found it in one of my old usb so I can't link as to who made this, but if you do, let me know and I'll credit them. :)
